Dr. Sikandar Hayat

Dr Sikandar Hayat is Distinguished Professor of History and Public Policy at FCCU, holding a dual appointment in the Department of History/Pakistan Studies and the Center for Public Policy and Governance, since early 2013. Earlier, he was Directing Staff (Research) at the National Management College (formerly Pakistan Administrative Staff College) and Dean, National Institute of Public Policy at the National School of Public Policy, Lahore. Previously, he was Meritorious Professor and Chairman, Department of History at the Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. In addition, for a while, he was Adjunct Professor at Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo), Arkansas State University (Jonesboro), and Juniata College (Huntingdon), USA. In 1991-95, Dr. Hayat served as Education Counselor at the Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC, USA.

Research Interests:

Public Policy, Political Leadership, and Research Methodology.
