Khalida Ahson

Khalida Ahson is a social development professional. She has a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Punjab (Old Campus) and in Public Policy: Governance, Democracy and Institutional Building, FCCU, CPPG. She has experience of working with village based organizations, non-government organisations, government departments and donors in the development sector, both as a program manager and as a consultant.

Her area of interest is to study the processes through which ‘right development’ may occur and to analysethe social, economic and political factors which hinder/facilitate public decision-making and policy formulation in Pakistan, in the development sector.

She is currently working as Research Fellow, CPPG, FCCU. She has completed and published her report on the research ‘Informal Sector and Urban Policy’through CPPG and is currently working on a position paper on ‘Governance of Management of Lahore’ for ‘Lahore Vision-2035’ Project of CPPG.
