Muhammad Hassan

Hassan is currently working at Forman Christian College in the department for Central Policy and Governance for USAID projects in the capacity of Documentation Officer. He received his L.L.B (Hons) degree from the University of London. His primary areas of expertise are Intellectual property law, in particular, registration, assignment and protection of trademarks, prosecuting and defending infringement matters pertaining to design, patent and copyright registration. He also has an avid interest in Human rights law and its dynamic and legal implementation in Pakistan’s legal system. Prior to graduation Hassan interned at Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) and post-graduation he worked as an associate at numerous local law firms and imminent legal think tanks writing articles on topics such as climate change and doing legal research for organization such as International committee of the red cross (ICRC) in areas of International and non-international humanitarian law. He also has prior working experience in USIAD projects in the capacity of research fellow at Research Society of International Law (RSIL).
