Mr. Sardar Ahmad Nawaz Sukhera obtained his Master’s in Development Economics from Williams   College in 1993 and MPA from Harvard University in 1994. He has been a faculty member at the National Public Policy School. Mr. Sukhera has held several key positions in the Punjab Government. He has been Principal Secretary to Governor Punjab and PSO to the Chief Minister. Mr. Sukhera has also served as Chief Executive Officer, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA). He joined Privatisation Division in April 2014 and currently he is Additional Secretary (In charge) Privatisation Division, Ministry of Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs Statistics and Privatisation

His research paper on “Kalabagh Dam – contentious issues and ways of reproachment” was published in the National Institute of Public Administration Papers – 2004.
