Mr. Raheem ul Haque, Senior Research Fellow CPPG will present the findings of a nine month research on youth radicalization conducted by a four member research team. His recent research includes “Strategic Depth”: Does It Promote Pakistan’s Strategic Interests?and Rickshaw & Environmental Pollution: Assessing Punjab Government’s Rickshaw Policy. He is co-editor of CPPG’s Quarterly Research & News journal and teaches courses on The Informal Sector and Information & Communication Technology. He has a Masters in International Public Policy from SAIS, Johns Hopkins University in Social Change and Development.

Dr. Ayesha Siddiqa, author of the research report Red Hot Chilli Peppers Islam: Is the Youth in Elite Universities in Pakistan Radical? is a leading security and defense analyst. Her last book was Military Inc. (Pluto, 2007).

Mr. Amir Rana, co-author of Radicalization in Pakistan (Narratives, 2012) is a founding member and Director, Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS). He also edits the journalConflict and Peace Studies.

Dr. Manzar Zaidiauthor of Insights on Insecurity in Pakistan (Narratives, 2012) has a PhD in Terrorism Studies and has published extensively on topics related to extremism, terrorism and radicalization.
