Cities for People has been organized to deliberate scholarly and practitioners ideas on how to orient development and governance in Pakistani cities work for the people. It brings in scholars to share ideas on informing urban institutional practices through the eyes of urban dwellers, especially the urban poor. The conference will produce ideas and visions which can contribute to the ongoing dialogue and debate on reforming urban policy and governance. Besides this, the conference will also contribute to draft urban policy research agenda for Pakistan. The conference is likely to initiate debate on charting urban future for Pakistan.
