“The Information Economy Report 2012(IER 2012): The Software Industry and Developing Countries”, a seventh edition in the flagship series published by UNCTAD emphasizes that ICT trends are creating better opportunities for the developing countries to enhance indigenous software capabilities. As one of the few annual reports monitoring global trends related to information and communication technologies (ICTs) from a development perspective, the Report is a valuable reference source for stakeholders.

The ICT Policy Dialogue will bring together a multi-stakeholder gathering of Government and Public Sector, Academia and Research, Civil Society, and the Private Sector to share their views on how the findings of IER 2012 inform Pakistan’s ICT Policy process
