About the Speaker: Dr. Ali Razaque serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Punjab Health Initiative Management Company (PHIMC), Lahore. Under his leadership, the Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) was extended to all permanent resident population of Punjab. Being a medical doctor with a Master’s Degree in Health Planning and Financing from London School of Economics and Political science and Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Services Administration from London has helped Dr. Ali Razaque to instill his brilliance in both public and private sectors. He has also completed an Executive Program from Harvard University in Managing Health Programs in Developing Countries.

From working as a Project Director, Punjab Aids Control Programme to Regional Strategic Intervention Adviser, UNAIDS Regional Support Team-Cairo, he has served health sectors in both national and international contexts. Working as Medical Superintendent, Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences, he knows the challenges public sector hospitals have to face in health care delivery. Building on all his diverse experiences, Dr. Ali Razaque was not only able to lead such a complex health system delivery model, i.e., Sehat Sahulat Program (SSP) but also imparted guidance to the challenges faced during expansion of SSP to all permanent resident population of Punjab.
